Decisions taken at European level increasingly shape education systems, from funding priorities to reforms that directly affect classrooms and the teaching profession.
The EU Teachers' Agenda is an opportunity to ensure that teaching is recognised as a profession and that teachers are fully involved in shaping the policies that affect their work. Teachers already have a representative voice at European level through ETUCE. This campaign aims to ensure that this voice is recognised, heard and included in education policy design, implementation and governance.
We call for stronger social dialogue with teachers' unions, greater professional autonomy, better working conditions, sustained investment in public education and meaningful involvement of the profession in European decision-making.
